Alzheimer's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease-Related Dementias refers to the most common forms of dementia. Please join the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) for the Alzheimer’s Disease-Related Dementias Virtual Summit March 22−23.
This summit will underscore Alzheimer’s-related dementias research priorities and opportunities relevant to the National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease. The agenda features prominent researchers, including NIA investigators and program staff, and cover topics such as frontotemporal degeneration, Lewy body dementia, multiple etiology dementias, and vascular dementias, along with broader, cross-cutting areas such as health equity. Significant portions of the summit will be dedicated to public comment on the draft research proposal. For more details, check out the full agenda.
As we work to advance research progress for all kinds of dementia, input from a diversity of stakeholders is essential. The 2022 Summit is an excellent opportunity to bring the scientific community and stakeholders together to discuss research progress and the direction for dementia science moving forward. The event is free, but registration is required. We hope you can participate!
